Video Summary
I headed to Stompin’ Groundz in Colorado Springs for Spice Night, a romance author pop-up event that brought together steamy reads, indie authors, and delicious coffee. The cozy café was buzzing with readers and writers, and the atmosphere was filled with love (and just a little heat 🔥).
The event kicked off with a warm welcome and a gorgeous mural that set the tone: “May These Grounds Bring Us Love and Community for Generations to Come.” Inside, I scored a delightful book haul complete with bookmarks, enamel pins, and the cutest “blind date with a book” bundle featuring tea, a recipe card, and a promise of small-town romance, second chances, and a swoony, steamy hero.
Local romance authors, including H. N. DeFore, Mandy Maree, L.J. Burkhart, Zora Fox, Amanda Casey, I’Sha’Keyva Porter, and Jennie Marts were on hand to sign books, chat with fans, and showcase beautiful special editions featuring foiled covers, sprayed edges, and illustrations that had everyone swooning.
